The Polycarbonate Roof System is a modern and elegant solution for creating comfortable outdoor living spaces. Designed to provide year-round shelter while maintaining natural light, the system combines clean architectural lines with durable materials suited to New Zealand’s outdoor environment.
Structure & Materials
A key point of difference with our systems is our commitment to New Zealand–manufactured and sourced materials. Unlike many franchised or mass-produced products, all structural profiles, rafters, and components are produced using heavy-gauge T5 aluminium and are Dulux powder coated locally in New Zealand for superior durability and finish.
Our patented Clear Span rafter profile provides a clean, modern appearance while delivering an effective mounting and sealing system for long-run polycarbonate glazing panels. This design allows for strong structural performance while maintaining a sleek architectural look.
Polycarbonate Architectural Glazing
We use UGS premium polycarbonate glazing panels, known for their excellent optical clarity, thermal performance, and long-term durability, making them an ideal choice for outdoor roofing systems.
Panels are available in 6mm or 8mm thickness, depending on the size and requirements of the structure.
Three colour and translucency options are available:
- Clear – maximum light transmission
- Charcoal Tint – reduces glare and heat
- Pearl Tint – soft diffused light with enhanced heat control

Outdoor Room Options
Your custom roof system can also be designed to incorporate outdoor roller screens, transforming the space into a comfortable year-round outdoor room.
We offer a range of screen systems that are simple to operate and engineered to perform in New Zealand’s outdoor conditions. Screens can be manufactured using clear PVC for optical clarity and weather protection, or PVC mesh for sun control and privacy.
Mesh screens are available in a variety of colours and openness levels, allowing the system to complement your home and personal design preferences.
Design & Build Process
Following your onsite consultation and quotation, the next step is to receive a concept design from our design team. This design allows you to clearly visualise how the finished system will look in your space.
Once the concept is approved, your system moves into manufacturing at our local factory, where it is built to your exact specifications.
From there, our experienced and certified installation team will complete the installation, allowing you to sit back and enjoy your new outdoor living space.
